The S2 is quiet and discreet for soothing pumping, and yet weighs only 3 lbs. Our Founder, Heidi Humphries, insisted on the quietest motor available for the S2 Plus, which when in the “massage mode” simulates the natural suckling of baby. Spectra Baby spent years developing features for the S2 Plus like “back-flow protection” to keep your breast milk from harmful bacteria. We thought hard about things like “adjustable suction levels” because that provides a more natural flow of milk.

Does the Spectra S2 Plus have a rechargeable battery for portable use?
No — unlike the Spectra S1 Plus, the S2 Plus is a plug-in only breast pump. It must be connected to an outlet during use, which is important for moms deciding between the two models.
How does the Spectra S2 Plus help with nighttime pumping?
The S2 Plus includes a two-level nightlight on its control panel, so moms can easily pump during nighttime feedings without turning on bright lights.
Can I get the Spectra S2 Plus covered by insurance?
