What is Milk Moms?
Milk Moms is an accredited and credentialed Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider. We have contracts with most national insurance plans and several Medicaid plans. We were started in 1996 with the intention of being a resource for new and expecting Moms. From that, we grew into a DME that specializes in breast pumps. We now offer the widest selection of breast pumps through insurance. Over the years, we have expanded our products and services to help support Mom during pregnancy and postpartum, beyond just the breast pump. How can Milk Moms help your patients?
Milk Moms has the widest selection of breast pumps available through insurance and a staff of breast pump experts ready to consult with each patient to help navigate through all the options. This prevents Mom from being overwhelmed by all the options, while still allowing Mom to get the perfect pump for their breastfeeding journey. We have maternity items ranging from maternity compression socks and pregnancy support bands to help during pregnancy and postpartum recovery garments and milk storage bags to help after birth. We realize that the insurance process can be difficult and confusing, which is why we take care of that as well. As a provider, what does it mean to partner with Milk Moms?
That is really up to the provider. We have a range of informal partnerships and formal partnerships with providers. In some instances, we will just share marketing materials with a provider. In other instances, the provider will refer patients or send referrals to us. Even further, there are some providers that we provide in-services, demos, and consignment for.
